Tax Deed Sales OhioOhio is actually a good state for buying tax lien certificates but these sales are limited to the institutional investors which are able to afford large tax lien packages.

The interest rate in Ohio is 18% and the redemption period can be as short as 1 year. Sales occur only in counties with population of at least 200,000. These sales are usually held in June. Tax deed sales are also open for the general public.
