Saskatchewan Tax Deeds

Last Updated on November 20, 2017

In Saskatchewan, the municipalities have a 6 month notification system which is activated after property taxes have been unpaid for varying amounts of times (depending on municipality). Following this 6 month period, the municipality will acquire title of the land where they can hold for up to 12 months at which point they MUST sell the land to the highest bidder at a public auction.
